    Direct Reports: Print Department Associates

    Reports To: Blow Molding and Print Department Director

    Conditions: Must pass background check, drug screening, and provide COVID 19 vaccination card or willing to undergo vaccination process, if hired. We are a fully vaccinated facility, and a non-smoking, non-vaping workplace.

    The print manager is responsible for print department daily operations, and will manage print department supervisors and staff consisting of full-time employees and temporary employees. Background in Lean Manufacturing; 5S, process improvement, etc. Possess a sense of urgency and competitive spirit to meeting print department goals, and understands the value of people, and ability to set the tone, manage, and lead.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage and direct the daily activities of print associates in a fast paced work environment
    • Maintain and control print department inventory to maintain minimal variance
    • Work closely with internal management to execute all planned operational schedules
    • Report inventory loss to senior management
    • Ability to train groups of associates, and multi-task
    • Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality
    • Maintain and supervise warehouse cost control
    • Manage and model the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 6 years’ experience supervising & leading people in a production manufacturing work environment
    • Must have strong leadership, communication, organizational & customer service skills
    • Should have good PC knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as basic math skills.
    • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity & be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
    • Past job performance must reflect dependability, maturity, initiative, personal demeanor, & the ability to exercise sound judgment
    • ERP (NetSuite) experience preferred

    Education, License & Certifications

    Associate’s degree or at least 2 years experience managerial roles
