  • Field Sales Representative – Midwest Region

    General Summary

    BuzzBallz is currently hiring Field Sales Representatives based in Illinois to join our growing team. Although based in Illinois, travel within and outside of Illinois throughout the Midwest will be required. Must be determined to grow market share in all segments of the business. The Field Sales Representative is responsible for growing the company portfolio and engaging consumers through point-of-sale merchandising, shelf assortment, and creative displays at retail accounts. In addition, the Sales Representatives must be able to identify new market and business opportunities to increase market share while building and maintaining relationships with accounts, distributors, and retailers. The Field Sales Representatives will work collaboratively under the management of the Director of Sales Development and VP of Sales Operations.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Drive sales in off-premise retail primarily, in addition to on-premise retail business
    • Assist with merchandising and the implementation of programming across all retail segments
    • Achieve distribution, display space, and shelf placement objectives in off-premise retail accounts
    • Secure menu features, back bar placement, and promotions to bring brand awareness in on-premise retail accounts
    • Increase brand presence in the marketplace by facilitating promotional and tasting events each month
    • Strengthen and expand current business partnerships with off-premise and on-premise retail accounts
    • Educate and manage the Distributor Sales Teams to ensure they are presenting and executing to company standards
    • Participate in new product launches, promotions, and events as the face of BuzzBallz
    • Regularly participate in market surveys and distributor work-withs to provide in depth analysis on current market sales and trends
    • Track and record daily market visits through our in-house sales reporting software (VIP)
    • Passionately share the BuzzBallz story

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
    • Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record
    • Have reliable transportation to travel to and from various locations
    • 1+years’ of selling experience (preferred)
    • Spirits/alcohol beverage industry knowledge (preferred)
    • 1+ years experience in sales in beverage alcohol industry (preferred)
